We carry exceptional artwork from 80+ artists from Appalachia, the Midwest, and beyond. Our shop celebrates work from both emerging and established artists and we’re proud to offer a vibrant variety of artistic styles and themes so that you can elevate your home with authentic, regional artwork and artful gifts that reflect your personal style.

Established in 2021, Clutch Collective is connected to Wit & Whimzy, a boutique featuring all artisan and US-made goods.

We believe in supporting living artists and recognize the essential role they play in a vibrant society, contributing to culture, local economies, and social well-being. Whereas we can appreciate the work of deceased masters, living artists rely on our support to sustain their practice and create new, relevant work. Supporting the artists in our communities is an investment in the future of the arts and our collective culture.
Human Created > AI Art

We condemn the use of AI in the creation of art. Why? Beyond the devastating environmental impacts, most generative AI models steal from artists’ original styles and imagery without consent, credit, or compensation. Not only does it erase the artist, but it threatens to replace human artists and their ability to make a living. AI devalues human creativity and promotes perfection and immediacy over the process. We believe human creation is an essential part of the art making process.

We believe in the power of shopping small and local. It really is magic – when you shop at independent, locally-owned businesses, you are making twice the impact on your community. Sarah Arnold, Owner

Inspired by the growing creative community in the Mid-Ohio Valley, Sarah founded the online community magazine, Clutch MOV, and managed the publication for nine years before opening Clutch Collective. In addition to running Clutch Collective, Sarah is the Director of Marketing and Communications for Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE). With a background in architecture and interior design, Sarah spends her free time home renovating, road-tripping, and exploring Southeast Ohio and beyond with her husband and daughter. Sarah is also currently serving as co-chair of Marietta Main Street’s Public Art Committee.
