2025 Shop Recap
2025 was full of growth, joy, and big dreams for Clutch Collective!
Our fourth full year in operation included fun new events and collaborations, partnerships with new artists, record-breaking days, and as always, lots of celebrating our local, creative community. I could not be more grateful to this community for your support. 2025 was a weird year in so many ways, but you really showed up, again and again.
At the end of each year, I like to take a look back on our progress and the goals I set the year before. I love data - it’s the marketer in me! So, here’s a brief recap of the past year with a few data pieces that stood out as noteworthy.
Compared to 2024, the shop saw a 9% year-over-year growth in 2025, with 8,454 items sold from over 90 artists! While 9% doesn’t sound very impressive, I’m honestly proud that we can celebrate growth at all, considering the dumpster fire of an economic landscape that was 2025. We noticed a shift, especially in the second half of the year, of folks committing to supporting local vs large corporations and for that, we thank you!
When you buy something from our shop, you are always directly supporting more than one small business. And for each small business you directly support, you are indirectly supporting dozens more - because small business owners tend to support other small businesses, give back to local charitable causes, and invest in their community WAY more than big box stores like Walmart or Amazon. So thanks for making an impact in our local economy AND supporting the talented artists we feature!
This year, we saw steady growth across our social media channels, especially on our Facebook account. I also doubled-down with our shop’s Pinterest account, growing our engagement to an average of 150k monthly views from an average of 23k last year. Additionally, we continued to regularly update our Google Business Profile to showcase our artists and upcoming events.
Why does this matter? Because our mission is focused on uplifting our artists - so more eyeballs on our accounts equals more people discovering their work! If you aren’t already, I invite you to follow along:
You can also help us grow by inviting your friends to follow us, sharing our posts, engaging with our content, and leaving us a review. It means a lot to our artists when you comment on one of their pieces. We’d also love it if you tagged us (@clutchcollectivemov) when you purchase a piece of art - these no-cost gestures go a LONG way!
We continued sending our twice-a-month email newsletters this year, featuring local stories, artist features, events, new products, giveaways, and more. If you aren’t on the list, make sure you sign up here! Right now, over 8,400 local folks subscribe to our email list.
I spent some time making small but meaningful improvements to our website this year. This included adding our core values to the About page and creating space to feature the causes we care about. Our web traffic increased significantly again in 2025, something I did not think possible after last year’s growth. I attribute some of this growth to a campaign I launched through Google, and the rest to the local stories and artist features we publish on the site.
In 2025, we had 41.8k pageviews and 23.7k visitors, a 155% increase over 2024! We were surprised to see that we had online visitors from all 50 states and 89 countries.
Why is this important? Because I want to do my very best to introduce more people to our featured artists, and our website is one way people connect with the shop.
2025 was a super fun year for us. Here are a few highlights that go beyond the numbers:
We loved hosting our first workshop with Eva Bennett of Eva Throws and Amanda Detlor of Lilahbloom Jewelry! It was a truly magical night to see the shop filled with folks laughing, creating, and connecting with one another.
In March, we hosted our first Adult Bookfair with Sam Miller of A Novel Notion - an idea that we weren’t sure would pan out, but boy did it! Never before had a line formed outside the shop. It was so much fun, we did it again in September!
We continued our partnership with Artbeat Studio and are proud to feature artwork from Artbeat’s artists, with 100% of the profits going back to the studio and its artists.
In support of public art in the MOV, we carry products where 100% of the proceeds benefit the Marietta Main Street Public Art Committee and the Parkersburg Floodwall Mural Project.
In partnership with artist Hannah Barreto, together we donate 25% of the sale of each Harmar Bridge print to the Historic Harmar Bridge Company.
In November, we raised over $300 through our Food Pantry Fundraiser for the Greater Marietta Community Food Pantry.
We hosted 16 events in 2025, including live music, artist pop-ups, and collaborative events with other downtown businesses.
As a contributor to YNST Magazine, I authored 5 stories this year featuring regional artists, a few of which you can read on their website.
Personally, 2025 included a very special trip to Greece with my sister, seeing The Format live for the first time, and lots of fun adventures with my husband and toddler.
2026 is going to be an unusual year because - surprise, I’m expecting baby number 2 in the spring! Still, I’m excited for this year, our fifth, to be one for the books. We’re already dreaming up new events and partnerships to bring even more magic to downtown Marietta this year. And of course, we’ll continue to use our platform to uplift our incredible artist community here in the Mid-Ohio Valley. If you have an idea for a collaboration, I invite you to reach out! I’d love to hear from you.
Cheers to a lovely 2025, and here’s to a fulfilling 2026! <3
